This is a custom Marking Knife I made for woodworking. Instead of a pencil to mark a cut, a knife is used. It gives a more precise mark and cuts the wood fibers to prevent tearing. Bill Stroman made the blades for me. The handle is made of maple and walnut. The cap is held
